Tryouts are open to all U9+ players for the 2017-2018 soccer year. Players MUST turn 8 before July 31, 2017. You only need attend one tryout day for your age group, but it is highly recommended you attend both.
Team age groupings will be determined by the number of players accepted. Players may not attend try out in previous year uniforms.
The NWSC Select Soccer Program offers a higher and more advanced level of commitment, training and competitive play for players U9 to U18. Select teams emphasize improving individual soccer skills and incorporating those skills into a team environment. Select soccer is a great way to build character and lasting friendships. NWSC Select Teams play as part of the NPSL and have various divisions for different skill levels.
Team sizes are based on the number of players that try out and commit to the season. Select Soccer has an average cost of $600 per player per season, with team fundraising and scholarship opportunities available to cut the costs.
Teams will practice 2-3 days per week with games on weekends. Games and tournaments begin in September and play through December. Traveling throughout the Puget Sound area is required, as half the games are played at home on the Ft. Nugent fields, while the remaining games are played away.
